no thats not what i meant, the car puts out 105 psi of compression, is that about right?? but yeah thats what the plan is for the next engine, 9.0 JE pistons
105 psi? say good buy to your rings.
they are shot.
you should be getting around 165-180 psi or 150 psi minimum.
I say time for a full rebuild and let some one tune it next time.

here is the deal, if look at stock engine compression, for example 3g carb motor (86 model) it had 8.8:1 compression and the book says 175 -180 psi.
So on 8:1 or 8.5:1 you should have 160-175psi. Make sure you do the compression test with TB fully open.
Most likely you need to rebuild the motor. I bet it will pick up extra 50+ hp after you rebuild.
