    Alright FINALLY Built engine parts?

Heres what im thinking, .20 or .30 over diamond forged pistons... what was the part number on those? How do you contact them? I searched but couldnt find shit. importperformanceparts.net has the toga main and rod bearings, toga oil pump, eagle H beams, and head studs for $666.00... Sound like a good deal?

The stock wrist pins should be 20mm for the A20A and B20A3. The B16/18 wrist pins are 21mm, and the B20A/B21A, F, H, and K Series are all 22mm. If your rods use larger pins than your choice of pistons, then you can use the smaller pins that match the pistons and have a machine shop fit the rods with bushings. It's a very common thing in the domestic world, and comes stock on many engines.

Re: Alright FINALLY Built engine parts?

The b18 pistons dont have the wrist pin in the right area (wrist pin height) so the pistons wont be even close to where they need to be in the cylinder

Re: Alright FINALLY Built engine parts?

i have diamond pistons that were custom orders.

other than off the shelf applications that are pre stocked, most piston manufacturers can and will do custom orders for anything. you just have to get very specific on exactly what you want.

he runs a B20a motor with a different bore size than our A20. there could be a reason why he is able to run off the shelf pistons and we cant.

alright i called diamond today... and the guy i talked to (i think it was mike?) said that the job number i had for military mase's pistons was for 20mm wrist pins, not 21mm? WTF? He also quoted me $580? I used job 20809... is that the right job number? Mase- Jump in here lol.

Re: Alright FINALLY Built engine parts?

alright updates: I got all my honda parts here (seals/timing belt/o rings etc/waterpump) ordered the diamond pistons. Apparently brian (military mase) had originally ordered 20mm wrist pins but went to 21mm wrist pins later (ron remembers him and the job!! and he remembers Chris and Sean!!) ron is sooo the man. If i do another build up i will def go to him. I should have these in 2 weeks or so he says. And yea the pistons were $360 alone but i got the good rings and fitted wrist pins so that pushed it to like $450 or somthing but thats really not bad at all, esp for custom pistons!! Looks like the crank situation is solved. Now all i need is to get the block bored, get headstuds/mainstuds, bearings, toga oil pump and eagle rods and this motor is going together!
