I assumed the pull handle thing just to the left of steering wheel was the tilt handle. I cant get the column to tilt. What is it for? Is my tilt seized?

to use it you have to pull out then down to loosen it. after that it should move up or down. have you tried both pushing it up and down, the steering wheel that is? you might think this is a stupid question but you'd be surprised how much this gets asked and how easy it is to not be able to get it to work if not done right lol.
anyway i think this is also in the faqs
my mom has an acura legend and instead of tilt is has telescoping so i have tried tilting and pushing/pulling. Nothing has worked but i didnt try pulling that handle and pushing it down, i will have to give that a try.

it pulls out for more leverage when you push it up and down,pull it out,push down while it's pulled now your colum is unlocked,pull it back out and push up now it's locked. i don't use mine much because my legs hit the bottom of the wheel if I tilt it much.
