What color to paint car?

What color do hatches normally look good in? I was thinking of kind of a 2-tone color, black up to the bumpers and side mouldings and another body color up.

The reason I think black would go good on the bottom is probably for my case only... Im going to be fixing up the rust in the rear kicks with some sheet metal and a welder and body fillter and it probably wont look 100% stock as im no body work engineer, but I can get things done... but back onto topic here:

Since I dont have AC I dont want the whole car too dark, its already a grey-like color. But I was thinking a blue would look good.

I should get you guys to post pics of your cars (hatch or not, doesnt matter) and anyone whos done a panda scheme or something two-tone because im only doing this work once, and it better look good when im done

Any comments on the blue half? Or would that look tacky, something like a lighter royal blue is what im thinking... That silver/black looks hot but I wouldnt do that to my car, stock body :shrugs:

blue and black suck together. IMO, don't do two tone. Just do the whole car black. I have an almost black car, leather, and no AC and I do just fine during the summer
