yeah this is true, jdm is now getting to be the new rice. either way i still like my cars simple but looking aftermaket, just a nice drop, rims, and nice paint. thats all i have really planned for my car

10 things i hated about my 3g...

1. everything leaked, sunroof, ps, oil pan, rad fluid, battery, exhaust, you name it...
2. car started and ran only one out of three attempts...
3. nothing worked, no ac, ps, windshield wipers, ignition...
4. one headlight was always half as bright, the flip light eventually pulled the wires apart...
5. purple interior...
6. slipping auto tranny (the 3g was my last auto)
7. as previously mentioned, absolutely no aftermarked support...
8. not very fast... last i remember, the car was running 22 second quarter miles...
9. very difficult to work on, quite cramped under the hood, everything was covered in oil, which didnt help...
10. (and should be the most important, but at the time i owned the car, i didnt realize this) the car did not hold up very well after a mild accident... now that i am married with three kids, i would now consider my old 3g unsafe...

i absoultely loved that car, was in my possesion for 10 years, and if it was still around, i would (at least my wife tells me) be driving my 88lxi over my 05 ex coupe v6 6mt... i still miss that car...

1. OBD-O (I fixed that)
2. lack of power. (I boosted that.)
3. unsafe braking abilities. (Fixed that in a big way)
4. lack of a good clutch/gear LSD
5. springs/shocks. (it can be done and has)
6. a front motor mount
7. front bumper blocks way to much air flow for big FMIC to be efficent
8. Need bigger intake valves (Soon to be fixed)

One thing I need to add is if you want a faster car it's gonna cost you no madder what. If thats boosting the accord or buying one that faster from the factory will still cost you more. Quit complaining and do something about it.

I have told many people I'm more then willing to make turbo kits for a fair price and still much cheaper then what you could buy one for a civic or teg. For about $3,000 can get you EVERYTHING you need for an easy 160-200whp + accord. Now go and add up all the little things you buy and ways you could scrap up money and tell your self how you can't afford it or even pick up a 2nd job if needes. It's not that you can't afford it, it's that your not trying hard enough.

2)pain in the ass to get a good idle with the eacv when the engine is modified
3)rebuilt distributors and axles from anyone besides honda are always worthless peices of crap
4)steering wheel is too far away/pedals too close for me
5)coolant reservior level is hard to see
6)black coating on front/rear windshield trim flakes off
7)impossible to change oil filter without dripping oil somewhere
8)ummmm........
9)one time, a cat peed on my vent ducts and the smell didn't go away for several years
10)a spider crawled into my guage cluster and died. it is still there.

1. stupid oil leaks everywhere...
2. no AC
3. fuel problem that i could never figure out...maybe was the fuel pump
4. clear coat on top of the roof was retarted
5. brake rotors warped real easy
6. this annoying noise up front that i could never figure out.
thats bout it for now....

1. dashboard has to come out to change/add fuel line
2. aftermarket seat support..... wtf... sidemount rail on the insides!!!!
3. dont like how the front lower balljoints work, scare me(gettin used to them)
4. alternator (ended up cuttin material out of the way so i could get it out)

thats all i can think of, otherwise most of the other stuff i didnt like i changed when i did my efi conversion.

17: brakes are damn near shot! can't change because #12 listed above.

ok in no particular order,

1. My interior. Its black and beich( is that how you spell it?) i like the black but they beich? Should have been all black.
2. NO CUP HOLDERS!!!!!!
3. An armrest would have been nice.
4. Hardly any aftermarket support.
5. A little more power and lower end torque would be nice.
6. So would a front lip and fog lights from the factory.
7. A little more backseat room.
8. The a/c is not as cold as my 4th gens which had twice the mileaage and never had a recharge in the 6 years me and my mom owned it. Thought it might need a recharge.
9. Wish i got better gas mileage.
10. Should have come with 15 inch alloys from the factory.

10.apolstiry needs to be redone(but i still love it, just not the square bear blue on blue)

dispite all these little things, my cruizin diane has never let me down, and i dont plan to let her go out without style. and even though she isnt FI i can still do a lot like dual webers
