    Oil Cap

ok does anyone know what other model of honda can we use the oil caps from? im looking at some aem, dcs, hks and others but of course they dont say anything about our car. i know that the only way to find out is to try but i want to make sure before i buy any of these if anyone has tried one from another car. like a 96 civic (i saw an aem one on ebay for cheap for that model) or something. and i know i dont need it i just want it for looks. oh and dont be smart asses and start with the whole...a 2g prelude one will fit. lol

    so does anyone know?

My friend's D-series oilcap is identical to the one on my A20, and on my ES2.

    Re: Oil Cap

as much as I hate apc they do make a good oil cap,it had a thicker gasket then oem. I got a chrome one and painted it anodized purple. I had a terrible time with aftermarket caps on my old hondas, they always leaked.

well theres nothing wrong with making your car look a little nice too. the one I found actually solved my oil leak problem because it seals better, and it's aluminum not cheap looking plastic.

    Re: Oil Cap

well dude the only reason i ask is because i want a chrome or some other polished color for an oil cap. not because its going to increase pressure or add 300 horsepower. i just want it for looks

well the one I got was from apc i believe,it's aluminum and has a nice heavy O ring on it,much heavier then stock, had it a couple of years and no problems with it. manchester honda carries a really nice honda aluminum oil cap,it's just expensive.

I got a blue anadized aluminum E-Bay one. It was generic for Honda cars, and it works great with no leaks.
