New (to me) shoes!

I got my new wheels stuck on yesterday.. here's some pix they're originally from a geo storm but I think they look better on a 3g than on the storm. I'm kinda hype on them cause i've not seem them on a 3g before and i think they match really well.

They look even better with the center caps put on but i've only got two so i'm gonna wait till i can find 2 more before putting them on. Unfortunately it seems the center caps are kinda pricey brand new.. i only paid $60 for the wheels and 2 center caps so paying $25 for a new center cap kinda sucks lol

they're only 14 pounds which is lighter than stock.. i think i could tell the difference the first time i drove it. maybe it was in my head but it definitely seemed zippier and felt lighter

i actually kinda like them without the caps. they look a bit scratched. i say take the clear coat off....give it a good sanding and either a mild polish and clear coat...or that duplicolor wheel paint that they have. its great ive seen it on a few cars on the road and from some friends. also lostforawhile has used it on his wheels as well and they look awesome.

yeah they're a little scratched up.. just like my paint job lol.. you can't really see it in my pics cause my cam is so shitty but there is a fair amount of key scratches on the body :\

i'll keep those tips in mind though for if/when i ever get to do paint and body work. it's really the last thing on my to do list right now though cause i don't have a garage to park it in and theres still a fair amount of engine work needed, let alone other mods i'd rather have

They suite the car good but 15" is as small as Id go.

^ yeah if i were spending real money i'd go for 15s or 16s, but it's more like i'm swapping cause i'm just gonna sell my old wheels. hopefully i'll break even or come up a little haha. so far i'm out $90 for the wheels and installation so if i make back even close to that i'll be happy, and i'll have wheels that look better than my old ones

good score. Id re sand and clearcoat if i were you (pretty cheap and easy) but for the money you cant beat it

yeah you should see my wheels they are tired...i want to paint them but i dont knoe where to start....wash them, sand them, il put puddy or something on the lip since the guy mest them up bad...and then paint them. i can only do one rim at a time since i sold my old ones also....craigslist ppl low ball too much.i put them up for 100 bucks and i only got 80 bucks picked up...they had like 40-60% left on tires.

lol my wheels were listed for $100 and i offered $50 i wouldn't have gone so low cept i've seen these wheels listed for at least half a year so i knew he'd take something close to my lowball offer.

if you're firm on your price you need to write "firm" otherwise it's assumed "or best offer"

i've been looking.. unfortunately things are complicated but the fact that there are two versions of the wheel.. one that is all alloy and another that has black accents (which is what i've got).

aww too bad.. it's all good though cause i'd rather go with a little less aggressive drop using H&Rs. I gotta get the timing belt replaced and some other shit thought before i spend any big money on mods like that. i do agree it needs to be dropped somewhat though.. the wheel gap at the top should the same as it is all around the wheel imo
