What is the extra headlight switch that just raises the lights for? and also the button in the middle of the dash between the 2 vents. what does that do?

the switch is to raise and lower the headlights without turning on the lights

and the lever between the vents toggles between hot air and regular temp air coming from those vents when the heater is on. that way you can have cooler air blowing on your face while the heater is running

The air thing is cool but dont understand why you would need the lights up without having them on. never seen that before.

the headlight switch is to open the headlights in case they are frozen. and the one between the vents is for the ac. it makes ac at max or just normal

you need them up if you want to replace the headlights. also if something is blocking them from closing all of the way they will try to close until the battery is dead
