So bobba Fett are you saying non of us here have the know how to tune our engines or the money to do so? I have enough confidence in my tunning knowledge to spend $1500 to put a turbo in my accord and make it run without blowing it up. Do i have the time? No. Do i have the money? Yes. Do i have the know how? Yes. Do i have the ambition to do it? Honestly no i dont. But just cuz many of us havent done it doesnt mean we dont know what to do or that we dont have the money. And unless you have a civic or integra, MOST ht members dont give any other car the time of day.

Steve and Legend, you get good responses because you have a B series in it, unless it has the full APC/Autozone product line, they're gonna jump in with the "That iz tyte y0!" no matter what the car is, if it has a B series.

What about homie with the H22 SE-i, they're gonna rock his nuts too.

Because mine is a Midori Green EK, every post is "man it's beatiful car y0!"and even I hate this car.

Civic's, B series, turbo, Teg's, H22, K20 = YES at h-t

anything else = NO at h-t

However the TECH, and classifieds are excellent.

i am willing to bet, if we took a survey of people's cars (even those into performance mods exclusivley) that the cars are far more substantially modified and that the owners as a whole have FAR more racing experience that we do on this forum.

also the money comment is because a lot of people hate H-T cause they act stuck up and have $30k into their cars.... you gotta pay to play and these guys do, if they want to act snobby with their 40 billion dollar all motor builds thats fine.

the fact is that they have a wealth of knowledge and experience in things that can't be found on this forum.

i dont know whether or not u can afford to mod cars or turbo your car, that is not the point. i dont care if you can tune your car or not. so fine, all that you said is true, you are still a minority on this forum. most people on here just do a bolt on or two and try to make their car look better. (obviously this doesnt apply to everyone. but probably a solid 90%)

overall, very few members actually have significant mods to their cars. shit all my car has is bolt ons, and i have never raced anything ever in my life. but i respect the H-T guys, and anybody else who has experience and wisdom to share with me.

2drSE-i and mkymonkey starting flaming at H-T for no apearent reason... i dont see why the fact that they didnt mention the A20 came from the the 3g Accord as being a big deal.

Jason Budd raced an OLD PRELUDE!!!!!!!!!!! so his motor probably came from...... *GASP*..... an old prelude. who fucking cares where the motor came from???

and look at us here on this forum, we flame any civic because its a 'civic' so its not like we are any better. they know civics and integras, good for them... of course they will be more enthusiastic about their own cars. just like on 3geez.com we dont get to worked up about civics ya know?

people just need to relax and keep modding.

I believe that they would praise any well built car (or honda). I know if some of the turbo setups on this forum were to post on there. The H-T people would love that stuff.

I got nothing against civics or integras hell im currently looking for an ef civic hatch or second gen integra as my project car. And yes boba your right on your first statement but then again again look at the aftermarked these guys whit civics and integras have, its light years ahead of us. Many civic and integra owners take that for granted. I got nothing against the H-T forum just SOME of its people.

yep lighter has has a lot more chassis tuning options and cages etc available. better platform for a drag car than a lude or accord.

its all in the name of going faster. and look at the important part, hes using an a20!
