Is This The Part Needed For Cupholders?

That part that flares upward, is that what is needed for the cupholders for the DX models?

Yeah, my car does have a maroon interior, however, I have since re-done the whole center console black, and it looks a ton cleaner. So, this would be black as well. Good deal, looks like I will be purchasing this piece in the future then. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Re: Is This The Part Needed For Cupholders?

when you get the cupholders...make sure you take them apart, clean the shit out of them with soapy water and degreaser...then get some alcohol and wipe it down...get some bumper paint from autozone and paint them while they're apart...trust me you will love the results. oh and when you put them back together you might want to put a lil bit of greasy to lube the moving parts up again if you rubbed that shit off...i know i did . plus it wouldnt hurt to relube them after 17 years lol

    i restored mine this way

thats what a lil care and love does man! lol it only took like 25 mins to get it to look like this. this would be my advise to anyone that buys one cuz they look like shit when you get them. not to mention all the damn soda and whatnot from the previous owner

Re: Is This The Part Needed For Cupholders?

Oh, don't worry about restoration man, haha. I'm chuck full of that feeling to restore when it comes to anything that has to do with my car. But kudos on that clean set, none the less.
