Your 3g is definitely unique... I'm not sure i like the body kit, it's a bit much, but i still like it.
Nice car.
Alas, no more 3gee. She was a wonderful car and will be missed..
No more 92 hatch either! I go through cars too much.
90 CRX
is the top and trunk painted black to match the carbon hood
man.... the amount of work you put into that car is insane, and you did a fuckin UNREAL job.
looks good.. not sure about the front of the body kit bur i do like the way your car looks from the side a lot
the car is not painted yet. it is in black and white primer. but that is the color scheme i plan on going. the interior is gutted except for the seats, dash and front door panels. i could have done more work to finish this car but the civic's got my current attention as of now. until i finish the civic, the 3gee's been chillin for a while but no doubt i will finish both cars no matter what. it's just money is a factor in getting these cars done. being in school makes it harder. i plan on going back to being a server at this expensive restaurant in the meantime while im in art school. so far, being a waiter made me a shitload of money than i ever could with a regular job....hmm we'll see.

wait so thats primer can u get a pic with a real camera cause that paint looks real ggod for just primer is it rattle can or paint gun
cool! now get some better pics![]()
whatsup ICEMAN...man if we lived closer we could probably make some killer custom bodykits...lol...like how your 3gee is still looking clean...keep it up....and im with gettogeddy too...what kind of primer is that...looks too good to be primer.
nice work are you coming to the kissimee meet?
Damn I didn;'t know that was primer, those real pics you posted a while ago made it look like a real paintjob.
I love your car man, my friends do to, everytime they see it they tell me to put 18's on my car hahah, and they arent usually fans of cars with kits. It just fits so well on your car you did a wicked job.
Good luck with getting it finished, I know how hard it is with school and all, I'm going from making $30k + a yr back to school in sept. Its gonna be a big hit to the bank account.

the primer is PPG brand epoxy primer. i used an old spray gun to apply it since it has thicker density and i dont want to clog up my new devilbiss spray gun that i use for painting. it takes a while to dry compared to rattle can primer but it grabs tight, waterproof, and is super durable. it's a bit tougher to sand down than rattle can primer since epoxy is pretty much like plastic when it dries. i might have to reapply a new coat before i paint though cus of air contaminants and sun.
as for clear pics, check out my cardomain site. the link is in my sig. thanks guys for your admiration....keeps me motivated.
i plan on redoing some touches to the kit a little bit. i'm gonna make a whole new design drawing and post it soon. here was the old design drawing i based off of:
when it's perfect the way i want it, i will make a mold of the panels and redo them in one solid piece fiberglass without all the bondo work or maybe even make it in carbonfiber....but i doubt i'd have quality like Seibon or VISracing since i don't have the million-dollar equipment they do. mine's all hand-made unfortunately.

Man, I ffffing love your car Iceman. And I am not a kit kind of guy, I like subtle clean lines. But your car has the subtle......and not so subtle lines. The widebody gives me a woody bro. Shit is hot, always will be. And I think a flat color would be cool.
You have my props and respect.
Love those boxy wide fenders.![]()

Hey looking good Iceman. I never knew you had a auto tranny. You never got back with me on my 5 speed. Do you still want it?
This is one of my favorite 3geez, and as for the body kit, that's sweet... I have to disagree with who ever said a flat paint job would look good on this, make this car shine! I also loved the drawings, that stuff the shit man (the drawings AND the car).
I am in agreement , I usually dont like wild body kits, but I like this one Iceman. Very tastefully done, I think the white or bright color will look best on it too, great work
Gotta tell ya man, the 3gee's got potential. I chose this car cus of its sharp lines. I don't like the lines of the 90 and up Accords and certainly don't like all the other sedans unless it's a BMW 3-series or Lexus IS350. It seems the next gen accords have gotten more bloated and fatter.Originally Posted by TdotWarrior
If I had the money, I can put a better powerplant in the 3gee using EG civic engine management parts except for custom mounts and axles. All the wiring harnesses, instrument cluster, ecu, fuses, relays, for the EG civic into the 3gee to make a B-series or H or K series swap feasable.
But for now, my first step is the looks and hopefully I get enough response to be able to make copies of this kit on my own or get a high end company like Seibon, VISracing, or Veilside to make this kit. Then eventually other companies would follow and make parts for the 3gee, like Hasport finally making mount kits & axles for us.
I'm also planning on making little parts in fiberglass to sell so I can make more money to get this done. I've been thinking about those round subaru wrx sti projector headlights and just re-fiberglass the housing to match the flipup housings of the 3gee.
I also could make a custom center console with armrest in fiberglass, maybe even carbonfiber. Copies of my front fenders too. Aaaargh!! Need money! All these ideas in my head and I can't make them happen cus of money makes me feel like my head is about to explode!
LOL

What about subaru lights housings and a lip addition. Since those light housings on their own might be too big, and you'll need something to tie the left and right side of the bumper together. or else the center of the bumper would look like it caved in.

your has a shark look to it. lol....

You're right, I don't know exactly how big those subie headlights are. Might look weird and costly. I think I'll just go full custom on the headlights using 2 sets of projector foglights and just make a custom fiberglass housing for them. I plan to make them direct bolt-on. So in case you wanna revert back to flip-ups, you can just unbolt these and bolt the flip-ups back on.Originally Posted by A20A1

I think I will just go OEM pearl white instead though, just in case of scratches and dents, paint would be easy to match and mix up. I think I like the Toyota Solara pearl white or the new Suzuki Aveo pearl white.
