Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................. A new paint job , 5 speed swap, Tinted windows, custom interior, sei brake swap , cam, . And replace everything else to make the car brand new. If thats not 10,000 bux then I could keep the rest for what ever I want, like beer, food ,bitcthes and (weed )

    Take the money & RUN!!!

Seriously, if it was free money. Totally restore the car from the frame out like they do on Overhaulin', but do it all myself to keep it in the price range.

EDIT- Probably drop H22 engine in it with turbo, intercooler, blow-off valve, nice rims, few extras.

Re: if u had $10,000 to spend on your 3gee...

    Oh, sorry sorry.

If I HAD to spend it on a 3g, I think I would go the route bobafett has (he'll be shocked to find out). Really, these cars will never turn that well, esp with a lot of extra power, so I'd just look to build a 3g drag car and add as much money to the motor as I can.

Even so, I'd probably still try to retrofit some sort of civic coilovers or something, but who knows. Probably not worth it anyway.

hehehe.... thats right! (btw it will be assembled today and we will try to get it running), but i am suprised by that comment!

if i had 10 grand to spend i would get some ef/ek coilovers and finish up the engine management situation, and get manifold, downpipe and intercooler pipes built, and enjoy my 300-400 whp accord finally... but im going to do all that anyway, so i guess it doest matter if i have 10 grand or not.

i definetly dont have $10k more to spend unless i go ricer all of a sudden and spend a lot on body work (though a new paintjob, and removing all the dents would be great!)

if i had to spend $10k MORE on my car i would turn it into a full out race car: cage, lexan, spherical bearing suspension, 16x7.5 wheels with 225 rubber (fits btw) and a better turbo.

I would have some bad ass suspension placed on the car, Turbo and build the motor I have in it already, and a pristine factory paintjob paint job.

Another option would be to buy another hatch and place and NSX motor in the rear. It could be done for 10K.

Re: if u had $10,000 to spend on your 3gee...

    10,000 isnt enough lol
    Haha I couldn't agree more.

First I'd find an accord with no rust, paint it the same colour as my car, inside and out, tucked and shaved engine bay too. (not extreme, still have brake mc, and ps in bay)

Then I'd build my motor, which will hopefully be in the works soon enough. and finish it off with an Autronic SM4 standalone ECU.

My interior and stereo probably wouldn't end up fitting into that budget hhaha.
When I do the repaint I would be replacing all moldings, and weatherstripping with brand new OEM honda parts.

totally fix the body, convert to efi, convert to rear discs, nice wheels, red/black leather interior, freakin' sweet system that includes 2 Kicker L7s or JL 13W7s and freakin' good speakers, and freakin' good deck, and amps to power it all, window tint, new suspension, invest in some gas.

i don't have a 3gee, but if someone gave me 10g's to spend only on a 3g, i would either get one and do a full resto or buy about 9 3g's and have a demo derby. later.

Re: if u had $10,000 to spend on your 3gee...

with 10k, id probably go with a fully built A20 motor and then turbo that bitch. with the remains, id probably buy koni shocks and struts and lower my car. if that wasnt enough, a new paint job with stereo system would be good enough. or id just drop in an H series engine into it and call it a day. probably run megasquirt with the H22 as the OEM ECU is hard to wire in. most definetly a full restoration would be nice though
