I didn't have a garage door to back into...

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM

If I backed into my garage door,my garage would fall down. so CAH what are your plans on the accord? if it was hit and is tearing up those suspension parts,it doesn't sound too good. time to look for another one. it sounds like it needs to be on a frame rack and be straightened.

    Re: CivicAccordHonda's Update Thread!

I don't make a whole lot, skilled labor here in the deep south doesn't mean shit, but i have the advantage of use of the machine shop and lots of scrap materials. but even if you don't make much it's just a matter of being able to use what you find creativly. thats the entire concept of rat rods, people would look for cheap cars and look for parts from other cars to build them, didn't matter if it was from the junkyard,a trash pile, where ever. thats why I believe those are the only true hot rods, buying parts from a catalog and bolting them together just isn't the same. a true rod has to have creativity as part of it. what we do with these accords is exactly the same,we have taken an obscure car no one really cares about, and found a ton of creative ways to make it cool. even with almost no after market support for the car. we are building japanese hot rods, it's no different then people taking a car they found in the bushes, puting a bunch of salvaged or fabricated parts on it,and making it run again. a lot of these kids with the ricer civics, have almost no talent, they buy bolt on crap,it's all exactly the same, and think it's cool. they don't have the creativity a lot of the people on this site have. I have to give some of them credit, because a few of them have built really cool one off stuff,or engines that really have a lot of power, but the majority of them have very little talent.the point is you can build whatever you want with enough time and a little bit of creativity.

creativity ftw, reminds me of my 1st 3gee, but i think most will think crap rather than creativity
