    Talking Honda Center Caps

in july i had bought these wheels from a friend. they came with 3 out of 4 of the center caps. i ended up losing one, so i just decided to leave them off. most everyone said they looked find without the center caps, which they did. but i was just tired of them being open. i got the old center caps from my 10 spoke 13's and made them fit. just had to move the prong things that hold them on outward by way of a heat gun. worked quite well. i first tested this process with a junked one i had laying around. anyway, they came out looking sharp and finish off these wheels nicely.

yeah, that kinda dresses up the wheels some. i need to do something about the front calipers so it kinda matches. i should do that sometime soon. it wouldnt take very long to get done either. i had my original calipers painted red. i'll see if i can find a pic of those.

    Re: Honda Center Caps

i had fixed up those center caps a long time ago. here's a pic of the wheels they were on. i plan on restoring these wheels pictured. they are a two piece type. the center spokes are welded to the actual rim. i'm trying to find someone that will take the centers out and weld them into a new rim that is wider. dunno if i can get that done or not. i'm sure someone out there does that type of thing. but anyway, there's where i got the center caps from.

there's also another tip on the right side. dual exhaust. makes it sound nice and deep, not raspy. those wheels in my last pic i posted are 13's. love em, but had to move up to the 17's. i wanna keep my brakes in the front the same size so i can put the 13's back on now and then, probably go with some drilled rotors. i would actually spend the money to do those.
