great work fellow, your going to =try and get that on a how to?
the complete theory makes excellent sense, as it lessens the read/accuate time for ECM inputs and outputs, sort of like putting the whole electrical/electronic system on a 'motherboard' in a matter of speaking. Buying the components to do this with is much cheaper, neater, and probabley higher quality than kits off ebay. Also probably better for the alternator and starter to have less resistance. Make bulbs last longer... from the looks of your engine compartment Shepard79 you are a believer bigger is better

Re: How to: DIY 3G ground kit.

well between the wire, connectors and new battery terminals i spent about $40-45.
i know some people will say, so why not get one of those kits from ebay.
well, as i and many other pople seen, they look ugly under the hood. Plus i haven't be able to find those kits in black color.

Re: How to: DIY 3G ground kit.

my car start one turn faster, and the bottom end and top end power is a lot better. idles a lot smoother.

options auto used to sell crane wires. They had them on clearance for 2 years.
I think i may have bought the last set. They don't carry them anymore and i think crane stopped making them.
They hardly even get warm even on hot days. They are nice and tight. I like them better than NGK.

edit: i was wrong, crane still offers them. http://www.cranecams.com/index.php?s...&lvl=3&prt=132 the listing starts with 83 prelude and ends with 87 prelude. they are all the same, just diff color.

you can get them from advance autoparts website or summit racing website. they are expensive as hell. i paid half of that price.

    no comment,
oh well yes, Mr Messy you can not go buy some wire and stacon pliers and some wiring ties, and a few eye connectors? you would still have to put the wires on if they were already cut, but how is he going to know where you have accessorie wires already to make the correct length??
It is pretty much Not rocket technology making the stronger ground harness, the hardest part is installing it neatly aye
secondly I am guessing nobody gets my motherboard comparison, you would have to have worked with electronics before to get the compairson, you make the components of the car read faster, like there all on separate bus wiriing you put them on parallel bus.instead of a mazed bus ..hey look up theres and airplane flying above oh ,oh , oh

I like those crane wires , your saying they stay nice and rigid even in heat, I will go for those, maybe they will be on sale or in Junkyard where I shop at for everything but food.. lol

i knoe its not hard...im thinking of geting some 4guage wire to do my amp wire and then cut up my old 5guage wire to make some grounds in the engine bay...i would also do the interior grounds but that is only if i had the interior striped out.

Look and make sure all your interior wires are not in plastic buses along the rocker ;panel,if so it is not really needed to take out seats and carpet, just sills
\and pull carpet back a little.
I can print and fax you a diagram of all your grounding points, I think anyway, I have to look at the software I have and make sure its not like 20 diagrams
