Dude, 1. Coupe Tails are harder to find in good shape then sedan tails.
2. it's alot of work to get that metal piece and and chances are if you cut it your gonna have a mis-cut razor edge on your car.
3. Sedan Tails are cheaper and easy to find on ebay and most junk yards and can even be had for $40 a piece BRAND NEW!
So the moral of my post is:
YOU WOULD BE STUPID TO DO THAT!, JUST BUY A 88-89 SEDAN TAIL AND BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!

i have firefox 1.5 i did not like the skins thay had for 2.0 i like the blue shaft or something like that
and the 89 coupe tall lamps at the junker are only 15 each and thay have a nice setbut not sure if thay will fit i am missing one of the metel thing under the right tall lamp it is just coverd with duckt tape

everyone is right sedan lights are easy to find...i paid 16 bucks for mine at the junkyard...and i took couple bulbs for it to as replacements...rofl....
