no, not too rare, find them on all, if not, most 88 - 89 vigors, and some accords.
o yeah, i dont think they make them on non-jdm cars, not sure on that one. but you can get one in new zealand somewere

It's a Vigor as well. That grill would be nice to have. I'm pretty sure if you take a 86-87 grill, and find a small Honda badge, you can make something like that.

so is it only 3ga or is there a 3gb version as well? and do the stock trim pieces on the ends bolt on? bc if they do, it may not matter so much what year they came from.
