I emailed them and asked if the mileage really is 500,000. They said yes and that they have replaced the auto transmission three times and have never had any motor work donw to it other than routine manint. Is that crazy or what? I had to tear down mine at 119,000 miles but mainly because I had a retard as a mechanic.
yeah, but if bidding is supposed to start at $300 and reserve isn't met, it probably won't sell. cars with a quarter of the mileage go for $300 or less.
Oh I know it is just interesting how long these engines will last. I have never seen one with 500,000 miles on it. When I go to the junk yard they usually have 200-300,000 miles on them not 500,000.
yeah, i know what you're saying. and most in the junkyard have good engines mechanically, just the body around them is gone or they were rear-ended or something like that.

Only if you run it till 1 million original matching #'s on car except some body parts. But not too many people can do that. Either Customer dies, gets rid of the car, or total it.
But as long as your the original owner (most of us are not) You do get something it depends on the merchant though.

Damn, thats a lot of miles. And damn again, because I didn't even notice the location until you said something. That cars in my town (warrenton) and i've never seen it driving around.
