weld a bung in at 45* and you'll pull a nice vacuum. more than enough for your crankcase gasses. use a check valve for good measure and you're good to go.

sweet. looks like that'll be a great cai. where are you going to put the filter?
jk. looks good. can't wait to see it up and running. another turbo accord to terrorize the b16 kids with.
So far so good, keep it coming man
I'll have to take some more pics. I got the car running yesterday and now i just need to tune it and finish up a few things and then i can start enjoying the boost.
congrats!
I wish I could be at the step you are at
get some good pics and vids up!
On my way to work, at lunch, and on the way home from work I got most of the regular driving(vacuum) portion of the map tuned.
thats all fine and dandy but wheres the pictures of the setup!Originally Posted by EricW

glad to hear your getting it done.
hopefully there will be two turbo accords at the next fl meet.
florida 3geez are taking over we need to be bigger and better than the cali guys...lol Looks great Eric! what psi will you be running? It will be killer to have a quick spooling setup while autocrossing. Maybe i'll start saving up and collecting parts and in a few years we will have atleast 3 turbo'd 3geez in floridaI have my autocross class Sunday and then hopefully get alot of practice in and we could have an autocross meet that would be badass, the miata guys would never see it coming...
I will get some pics on Sat. when I'm at the show. I don't really have much time during the day to take pics since I have class after i get off work on week nights.
I'm running 8psi. It spools between 3 and 4 grand so its pretty decent for autocross.
I also found out tonight that a stock clutch doesn't hold whatever amount of power that I'm putting down. So I guess its time to put the 6 puck in.
More pics. I will get some closer ones of the engine today.

looks good, looking forward to seeing it at the next flordia meet. this time I'm taking all day and not taking the dam interstate from hell or the tollway of terror. not sure if i'll have the carbs on and running yet or not. if not I'll bring em with me.
looking good looking good
What intercooler are you using? get some closer pics of that. Hows it runnig and all that. nice to see it all came together.
Its a 25"x6"x3" cca intercooler. Its running decent right now, i still need to take care of all of the vacuum/boost leaks. I also need to put my 6 puck clutch in since the stock unit will only hold on or two pulls when the boost hits and then it will just slip every time after thatOriginally Posted by guaynabo89
. I will work on fine tuning the map after i get the new clutch in and all of the leaks sealed. I'll get some better pics of all of the parts today and try to get them uploaded later.
any pics yet?
ha ha nice to see you finally got it in and running. Boost on!!!
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
I took some yesterday, I just need to upload them later.Originally Posted by guaynabo89

This shows the placement of the crankcase ventilation system in the exhaust system. I had to cut about and inch off the end of the tube to make it fit without hitting the floor pan.
This is where the tube that connects to the crankcase ventilation system ends right now. I'm working on what connects the tube to the valve cover and pcv valve.
I moved the power steering reservoir a little to the right from the stock location. To accommodate the charge pipe.
This pic is showing the O2 bung i added for the regular 4 wire oxygen sensor.
New 3000cfm slim radiator fan and intake wraped with heat wrap. (the heat wrap is also on the charge pipes in the engine bay now) You can also see the where i rerouted the high presure power steering hose over the valve cover. the hose is covered in heat wrap.

more!
I've already changed the look of the engine a little since I covered the charge pipes in the engine bay with the silver heat wrap (which makes a difference in the intake temps). I'm going to put the 6 puck clutch in and finally install my big brake kit when the legend rear calipers arrive sometime in the next week, although its supposed to rain for the next day or two.
I also need to connect the crankcase ventilation system to the valve cover and pcv valve, since I went out to the beach and got the size hose that i needed from the Lowes out there since the Lowes in town has been out of it for the last week. I also want to straighten up the wiring in the engine bay and put some wire loom on the loose wires.
That's all have for now. I will have to take more when I put the car back up on jack stands to drop the tranny.Originally Posted by mkymonkey
I forgot i also need to get some 3" exhaust pipe to move the exhaust so it doesn't hit the sway bar, if i can manage to make it work with the rear disc swap. I sure i can make something work even if i have to fab new brackets for the end links.
