    Steve_Si's 3G update thread

Time to make an update thread.

Here she is when I first got her. Well looked after car with very low mileage, about 55,000 miles.

Then added the folding fog lights. These have since had the Prelude stickers removed and a fresh coat of matt black paint.

    Re: Steve_Si's 3G update thread

Picked up some 91 DA Integra wheels and started on the F1 interior swap today. Nice F1 interior goes in to my car, ugly blue interior goes in to the poor old F1.

More pics of the interior swap tomorrow, everything but the dash is done but it's too dark for photos.

    Re: Steve_Si's 3G update thread

A new day, so some new pictures I should have parked where the sun would shine on the wheels as they look kinda dull. But they are in good condition and quite well polished still.

Dashboard and steering wheel cover will be changed to F1 next weekend.

ok imageshack is running like imagecrap. I'll try again later

You can never have to many Honda's. Looks nice. All you need now is the F1 sticker or badge.

You're missing the front seatbelt anchor bolt covers too The interior looks to be in very good condition!
You're probably going to have to swap dash wiring harness, if the F1 dash doesnt have climate controls.

    Re: Steve_Si's 3G update thread

The F1 sticker is actually one individual sticker for every single letter, so I don't think I'll be transferring that over I'll probably remove them though so I can sell it as a plain 2.0Si

As for the JDM gear, I'm not worried so much about the 5 speed and cup holders. But I will be trying to get folding mirrors and an air refiner installed

The front seatbelts in my silver car were better than the F1 belts, so the anchor covers are still blue. So is the rear tray and trunk lining. I'll just have to find black parts from another car, or possibly grey from a NZ model.

I was thinking I could simply swap the dash and put the climate controls back in with the same dash. Guess I'll find out soon :O

The dash is an easy swap and so is the trunk.

That black F1 interior is very nice.

P.S. Want to sell those blue Floor matts?
Those bumper lights are definitely smoked compared to the UDSM ones. I need some now!

    Re: Steve_Si's 3G update thread

I'll be keeping the blue floor mats until I find some black or grey factory mats. I hate using after market mats cause they move around and never look right. After that I'll sell them. $20 + $100 postage? LOL. They'll probably end up in the rubbish.

As for the bumper lights, I could send you a set from the EXL-S. Would just the orange covers be enough?

    Re: Steve_Si's 3G update thread

    Dash swap is under-way

And some very good news, we have found out why the heater fan only works on high. There is a dodgy/loose connection which goes in to some device which has a big heatsink on it and sits inside the blower unit. Getting the dry solder replaced and hopefully it all works out But yeah, wiggling it around caused the low and medium fan settings to work

The device in the middle-right of this picture seems to control the temperature, much like the heat slider does in other 3Gs
