How do you remove the front turn signals on an 89 SE-i? The manual shows screws in the front of the turn signals but they do not have them. I assume you need to remove the underside covers and pull them out from inside the bumper.

what if you had fogs there?
You could just unplug the fogs. Or do what I had to do since my holes are covered up by my kit. I had to take the whole bumper cover off just to have access to the screws that hold the lights in.Originally Posted by sds

i had fogs there, its a pain in the ass to get them out, especially if you're sitting on sharp stonesOriginally Posted by sds
Well I got the turn signals cleared by using a dremel and a cutting bit from a rotozip used for drywall board and wood. I don't recommend this method unless you are good at using this setup. I just cut the amber lens sides and bottom in half then pulled it out. I used my air compressor to blow out the cuttings after that. It took me about 20 minutes per turn signal. I am putting the 3watt LED bulbs in place of the original type.
