    Flush mount headlights

I've seen a couple of pictures on here of 3rd gens. with flush mounted headlights (no eyelids), I think it looks really cool.. could someone tell me how much it costs to do something like this...

    Thanks

Do you mean HID projectors installed instead of the flipups with a lexan cover? Or the euro frontend? 3 or 4 members have also done a prelude BB6 conversion.

This one has BB6 but i dont have a front pic anymore sorry. But at least you can see that the sidemarkers have been shaved on the fenders.

"SQ is the squad" also had a hatch with BB6 frontend, there's probably some pics if you search his threads.

    i agree

you wont be able to do that without alot of work as i belive the frames differ in the front... alot of cutting and hacking... and you will have to ship the parts from over seas

i think the "flip-up" lights are very charecteristic of the honda accord. you should be happy with them not only because the conversion will cost alot of money to do. but if you do convert the head lights the first thing people will say after they see your car is, " wow, thats a nice prelude" and i know that you dont want that because your car is a honda accord and thats the way it should be

one thing no one considered is going to round pop ups. i built a set of these before it only required a screw in mounting plate and minor mods to the metal part of a headlight bucket. i was going to install them but they got lost in the move when we moved here years ago. i believe it's time to make another set. this is what i used before

    Re: Flush mount headlights

just remember what is minor mods to me might be major to you. you do need a set of the metal headlight buckets, because you'll have to cut some away. of course taking my car apart and running a couple of miles of wiring is minor to me too.
