    Spring Equinox Photoshoot 2008.03.20

    It's been way too long since I washed my car and took some pics so seeing as it's the first day of spring and all i figured it would be a good time not a ton of pics this time was kinda rushing since i had low battery and the sun was going down

    oh damn also can a mod rename this thread to "Spring Equinox Photoshoot 2008.03.20" dur thanks

    Nice, and yes...she does look sexy when shes getting gas haha...i was going to take my 3gee out for a spin today and put some new gas in her but dead battery ftl...and i ran it like 2 weeks ago after charging it so now i know i need a new battery lol

    Car looks great! ,,,and pics turned out really well too i think.

    Didn't even realize it was technically spring... sure feels like it now though.

    IMO, i'd give ur front lip a nice fresh coat of flat black... would freshen it up nice.

    what exactly is the name of the color of your car?
    Monterey Green Metallic Clearcoat it's not a super common color but I love it.. i didn't even know the color existed until I saw the for sale listing on Craigslist for this car haha. But green is my favorite color so I'm happy to have a green 3gee

    What % tint do you have
    50% front sides, 30% rear sides, 15% rear windshield The guy who did the tinting recommended the 3 different %s so that there is less contrast on the sides of the car.. it kind of 'fades' as it goes back. I like the % numbers a lot.. just the perfect amount of tinting to give privacy and comfort but still light enough that it doesn't give the car a 'blacked out' look. not that i don't like blacked out rides, but i'm going more for a retro "luxury sport sedan" feel

    IMO, i'd give ur front lip a nice fresh coat of flat black... would freshen it up nice.
    yeah I agree it's looking a bit faded. actually the door trim and stuff could use some paint too.. I might move to a place where I can work on my car more easily and if I do i'm sure i'll do more minor touch up stuff like that.
