If it just comes down to color, due to them being the same. Id have to go with the K's. I wouldnt want to rock a set of purple struts. Now thats just me. From the text and pics they have of them. IMO they hands down whoop the curent strut opp. that we have.

adjustability is nice, but racetrack stiff is all im after. im not trying to play with the stiffness all the damn time. i just want it solid. permanently. that's why i love the Koni's.

So does anyone have a link or email for the company or person to get the coilovers from. I'll make the jump on buying a set since re valved struts and GCs are almost the same price.
actually, if you went D2, it should only cost you about 1K all told. ...and if you reach out to D2 directly, although it might cost a few extra $$ you can specify the lb ratings you want on the springs and ensure that they valve the shocks accordingly. D2 use to be garbage, but the newer generations of their coilovers are actually getting decent reviews as of late. ....and at 1K, that's about $400 less that what you're going to spend just in getting the shocks revalved, not even counting the cost to buy a set of Koni cores (that'll run you about $300-400) and a set of springs or sleeve coil-overs (another $200-350).

I couldn't find anything on the D2 but I did find the Ksport. The part # is CHD240-KP. Spring rate front: 12/672 and Rear:7/392. 672 seems to be pretty stiff for the front. I asked for pricing on HT so I'm awaiting on PMs for pricing. Ksport retail is $1300. Hopefully they'll be alot cheaper from the retailers.
So far I've seen the Ksport coilovers for $897.00
The other set up I was going for was for the Koni Yellow sport and GC's sleeves. The lowest quote I got was $800 shipped. Thats not revalved so how ever much extra it'll cost for that will bring me close to the Ksport coilovers. The question is which one will be better. The Ksports have the adjustable dampner so they are up one on that.

O.K. Got some more pricing today. Its down to $760 shipped.
which is less than half of what the Koni setup will cost you.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I can get it down alittle more. Each one of the distributors are saying if I find a lower price they'll match or beat the price the other vendor gives.
Just understand though, that with the K-Sports or the D2's, you're getting a street suspension only. I would not suggest racing on these until they've been put through their paces a bit more on the open circuits.

Definitly wont be racing the 3g. Its basically for commuting back and forth to work. I'll have an eg hatch that I'll be building for nasa.
What do you mean your running full stiff? What is adjustable on you set up? Also what are your spring rating?

I see. How do you like the stiffness of the springs? Would you want the spring ratings to be stiffer? The ksports come 637 in the front. The distirbutor said I can change the spring ratings as long as they have them in stock. Now I just need to figure what spring ratings I'll be happy with.
Lets Us know who you buy from for the cheaper price!!! I would love a full bodied coilover setup!!!Yeah I'm pretty sure I can get it down alittle more. Each one of the distributors are saying if I find a lower price they'll match or beat the price the other vendor gives.
3geez is F**kin Awesome!!!
So its down to $750. I wonder if we'd have enough people for a group buy.
