5k is a lot, but if its in as good of shape as they say it is, its very well worth it.

Well now that you say you didnt buy it.

I'd rather invest $5000 on something else than a 3g i can get for 1500 more or less

10k? For 10k you could have a rebuilt motor, trans, suspension, brakes.

Wonder if it's aftermarket... I still haven't heard definitively if the LX-i had that option.
$5000 is a lot, but I can't imagine there being a nicer 3G around for someone who wants to garage one and keep it for decades. Best color combo too, IMO.

qft. you can get an accord 10 years newer for that price. and yeah, all that maintenance on a 3g and it doesn't even have 100k miles? i know preemptive is nice, but it sounds like either someone got taken for a ride by their mechanic or else someone actually didn't treat the car very well then tried to make it new again...

    Re: Buy of the year!

Yeah I was being sarcastic when I posted it. Even though I paid $2400 for mine I would never pay that much for that one. They're saying restored which it shouldn't have to be and we're not talking about a old rod or something.

Meh. Worth five large or not, it's still a sweet car.
