    New to the forum

I am new to the whole forum concept, so hopefully I don't mess up. I recently got a 1988 Accord LXi. After buying it for $750, and putting near $2000 into it, I have grown to appreciate the 208,000 mile car. I got the car under the impression that everything works, except a few easy repairs, (sunroof leaks, control arm needed to be connected). Fifth gear was gone, needed to replace the transmission. Control arm needed to be replaced. Fuel injectors leaked, driver's door lock needed to be re-keyed, air conditions belt missing. The whole suspension rattles when I go over any bumps, and brakes need to be replaced, drums and rotors and all. Anyway, here are some pictures, hopefully they work, I am new to Imageshack too.

Yeah, it definitely needs new paint. Unfortunately that is at the end of my list. I still need new brakes, fix suspension, then tint, then paint. I just hope the engine doesn't give up on me; or fifth gear again for that matter.

5th gear is easy to replace...if it ever goes out...that black over on the end of the tranny comes off...and there it is. just pull gear out and replace...easy as that...BUT i would run honda MTF for longer lasting and smoother running tranny...BTW....i been thew 3 trannys and learned lol. motor should be in great shape as long as you do your regular oil changes. and tune ups every 3,000 or 3months which ever comes first......thats the least you have to worry thou man. good luck..let us know how it goes. if any questions feel free to ask. OR use that funny little search button LMFAO
