Hey guys here are a few new pics of my car...

I did my best with not having access to things to wash my car with before the pics but here are a bunch of new pictures that i took in a parking garage and at Tempe Town Lake in Tempe, AZ

As you guys can see my girlfriend helped me take these pictures haha

Let me know if you guys have any ideas of what i can do to the engine bay to clean up the head or remove some things that wont affect the performance in a negative way.

    Hope you guys like...

Thanks Messy I love that spoiler i think it flows so well with the car...

And Joay thanks man I think I have seen that post once before and just cant seem to understand it man I dont want to risk messing anything up. Unless there were literally step by step directions because im just not as risky as you guys are yet man haha. but converting to obd1 would be awesome. I would love to get rid of all the clutter

By the way guys today I bought a set of Rota J-Mags i'll have them delivered and mounted by next Thursday

I also bough a 1st gen Integra complete and running for 2hundos earlier today it was an awesome deal! Only has overheating problem but its going to be my main project and my 3g will be my daily driver.

Pics of the car with rotas real soon guys!

coupe looks clean, keep it up... to bad your makeing this your DD ad the 1g teg your project. for engien bay washing it shouldnt be bad as long as you watch what you spray and cover things like the dizzy and hand clean them afterwards

also if you dont care about cruise controle you can rip that out but since its a DD im guessing you want that

I the only thing left to do on this car is drop an H or B series engine in there with intake skunk2 throttle body, stage 2 cam shafts new pistons valves etc. and probably do a wire tuck.

Why do you have a DX badge?

CAI = Cold Air Intake, which would be a short ram unless you run it out of the engine bay.

    Re: Newest 89 LX-i coupe on 3geez

Sk8r- the only reason im leaving this my DD is because the G1 teg in not in conditions of being my daily. On the on the hand my 3g never seems to let me down. When i get the teg in a reliable position im going to park my 3g and get every bit of power i can out of my A20 and it wouldnt be a bad idea ripping out the power steering and cruise control i dont use either of them (ps leak lol)

3genftw-Probably wont go through the trouble of swapping in a different engine unless somebdy on here has done it succesfully and wants to do it again and be paid... Anyone up for it?

Bass man-Yeah theyre light i took off of a dx model after trying to black out my original lights lol it was stupid, but i do have the lxi badge back on there as Joay said Stealthness could be my excuse though lol

Old school 3g-Sorry man lol I actualy probably was on 3geez already just never had the motivation to show everyone my car I didnt feel it was nice enough haha

Demon1024- Lol yeah I dont know about my shifter I guess it was some special edition shifter lol I really want to do a 5 speed swap if anyone experienced in that wants to take a road trip for that ive got a place for you to stay lol. I dont want to get myself into something that I cant handle on my own lol. and no its not the original paint it has been repainted once before but will need another paint job real soon

Flying men- thankss man I do my best to take care of it

Thanks for all of your guys' comments they definitely make me feel better about all the work ive put into it just trying to keep it as clean as possible.

also does anyone know where i can buy a cold air or short ram intake that'll fit my A20? I bought one once before that supposedly fit my car but didnt lol go figure

anyways guys sorry about the big ass book i just wrote just trying to get back to all of you.

You'll do what for cheap? A 5 speed swap? Or engine swap? Are you experienced with that kind of thing?

    Re: Newest 89 LX-i coupe on 3geez

first, nice car. Great, tasteful mods so far. Did you get the 15" or 16" jmags? What color?

As for next mods, yeah, I agree with the CAI. How far forward does that exhaust go? (ie. Is it a cat-back, or just a muffler?) If it's not a cat-back, I'd put that on my short list as well. Then a set of paceshitter headers (but strip the black paint and repaint them with high-temp silver [or whatever color you want]). If you do a CAI, please be sure to do it right and put a bypass valve in it too so you don't suck in a lot of water when it rains.

I like the ride height as is. What suspension work do you have done?

Next step (for me) would be rear disc brake swap after the I/H/E (Intake, Header, Exhaust) are done.

Then think about the 5-spd swap. By the time you've done what's already been mentioned, your confidence levels (mechanically) will be increased greatly. So now this 5-spd conversion won't look so daunting. I personally have worked on 2 swaps (including my own). There is a step-by-step for that so keep it close.

Then, a nice, very easy step you can take after all this is a reground cam. Very inexpensive, and great bang for the buck. ...but then, get yourself an adjustable cam gear (ACG) so you can fiddle with the timing. While you're at that, go with some Magnecore wires, good spark plugs, and an aftermarket coil (Accel, Summit, MSD, etc).
