I got the bracket built for the aircraft emergency light, and I test fitted everything, I've been trying to work on the car, but even after 20 minutes out there, I'm sweating to death. It's just to hot to do anything.

il like to see it with carpet.

It will have carpet when I'm done, the factory carpet simply won't fit anymore, so i have to make pattern pieces then sew it all together there is a type of carpet they use in hot rods, you can put it in a bent area and tap the carpet down with a mallet, and it will take the countour of the bend. I would like to finish the wiring and put the new dash and everything in, but it's so hot, in 15 minutes you have sweat in your eyes and are overheated. i have ventilator fans in the loft, but at 110 heat index and the humidity at nearly 98 percent,it's like working in a swamp. just impossible. I'm making all the parts and pieces, but it's going to have to cool off before I can install anything. I have a big hunter ceiling fan, I might install it out there if there's clearance.
I like the aviation theme. This thing is going to look awesome once you get everything done. What does that sticker to the right of the steering column say?

I'm trying to do what I can, the heat is so bad it's just unbearable, i was going to put a meter box on the building so I could hook up the electrical panel, but I don't have the money right now, this would allow me to put a 220 ac unit in and run it while i'm working , most people here don't have the power ro run one, so you can get them for nearly nothing
the sticker saysin other words don't run out of gas, when it says E you might run out of gas!!warning!! fuel remaining in tanks when indicator reads zero, cannot be used safely in flight
everything on this car is built from aircraft parts, or aircraft aluminum. or airplane themed in some way, Vanilla sky has a heater core for me, so I can yank this core out, remove the dash, and get all that mess finished. new dash is ready to go in the car already.
^^ did you just answer your own question, i mean really quoteing yourself RIGHT after the post.. nothing like post whoreing

I like the work, but the whole thing is just too much for me. Since I haven't been keeping track of the other thread about this, do all of the buttons you've installed do something (or will end up doing something)?
when did i trash on your post, i made no comment about anything actully said nore did i trash your car at all. im pointing out the fact that you continuously make thread after thread going over the same part, every one of your projects have multiple threads, its just not needed. heres an example that took less then 2 mins to find
whats was rong with useing this thread that you allready made about the light
https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73362
or how about this one labeled almost the same exact thing as this thread
https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72471
or this one labeled center console project
https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70718
i mean really, tons of people are interested in your monstrosity of a car you really dont need 70 threads going about the intior of your car make a frigen build thread for crist sake so people that like your car can follow EVERYTHING in one place instead of multi threads about small peices
that's a good point
Looking good LOST!!!!
holy shit it's cheeseburger
also lost u need to add a flux capacitor
put the flux capacitor and let me hop on and go back in time to change a few things that i have done! lol
Well Cheese if I had one I would be attaching it to the biggest U haul I could find, and bringing back SEI parts and DC headers, but I have no way to generate the 1.21 Gigawatz and they are so slow they would never drive 88. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgyvMp5YWcI
^ I'm guessing it turns on the light it's attached to.
Itzdave sent it to me, it's from an aircraft, it's an emergency flashlight, you pull the handle down and it comes off of the bracket, it would have originally charged from the airplane, but it uses two rechargeable C batteries, I just put two standard C batteries in it. also has a g force sensor in it, in a wreck it will come on on it's own. a;ways good to have a flashlight handy at night, and it's military hardware. I had to make the bracket it's attached to https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73362
the big flat aluminum bracket is left over from my old Nokia analog cell phone, best phone I ever owned. it was the handset with the radio box at the back. I'm going to modify that plate with a lighter one for an Ipod cradle, you can get the harness with the plug that charges the battery, and has a left and right audio output. I have a wired FM modulator for the Ipod to run it through the radio, the mirror switch in the center console goes to a relay box and an SWI-x unit, it turns the eight possible outputs of the mirror switch into remote control signals for the radio
Looking good as always Lost!

Another small piece, this is the panel that fits at the back of the console, since I don't have a shear here, I haven't sheared the angles yet. this is what the three relays for the start button attach to. they go on the inside of the panel. the round area has to milled out yet, it's for an electronic flasher, the dual red lights on the panel, are for one of the oil pressure warnings. I have the regular one, but since I have the remote oil filter and cooler, I have a secondary sensor on the return side of the filter. This tells me if i lose pressure on the return side of the filter EG clogged filter.

Here's the panel installed with the relays for the start button, very tight fit on everything, I'm trying to work on a little at a time and get parts ready to install
