I want my car to ride/handle properly. I want a relatively stiff ride with no lean, sway, no loss of traction going over a bump in a turn, etc. Basically like a new bmw with the sport package. I emailed ground control about some coilovers and they haven't gotten back to me, of course.. My bilsteins are 375/120 and 300/100. My car rides horribly with the sprint springs I have now, those will be going in the garbage as soon as I get a set of coilovers. I am so sick of being knocked out of the seat by every little contour of the road that I've taken to commuting in my truck. I want my car to have that nice dead, controlled feeling that it should have, instead of constantly busy, constantly moving up and down with the tiniest imperfection in the road. You can't control a car if you're hanging onto the steering wheel around a turn because you just got knocked out of your seat by a little bump halfway through.
Thing is, will I even be able to achieve what I want without having to revalve my shocks again, or can I just go with softer springs (mostly in the back) and be okay? My intuition is telling me that softer springs is the way to go, but I don't really know.
Also, who has set up a real properly handling 3g on here? I mean someone who has experimented with different springs, shock valving, And swaybars. I highly doubt I would be able to just buy a set of swaybars (st) and have them match the rest of my setup. Especially considering that the addco bars have a totally different bias front to back compared to the ST bars. I want adjustable bars.
Any educated input on this is welcome..
