Can you elaborate on the problems with the E30 wheels? There are two different styles on Craigslist for cheap that I thought would look great on a 3g, but after reading around I thought they wouldn't fit a 3g, but yours looked good. How was handling affected by the different offset? Any problems making u-turns with the increased scrub?

    ---

I like the new wheels with the new stance, especially with the OD, but the cheap white walls need to go ASAP. Ditch the tire paint and you've got a winning combo.

they weren't really that bad but i wanted to go real low and they rubbed a bunch of points in the fender. handling wasn't affected that i could tell at all. and yeah at full lock the tires rubbed the front and back of the fender wells. nothing major, but not good to dump the car on.

hondamonster go on ebay and search for a white wall tire decal kinda thing. I know they make it and they sell for like 10 to 15 bucks. I cant remember what theyre called though.

I like the idea youre going for definitely but I think there is room for improvement with minor details.

Alright that new wheel and tire combo is growing on me even though I still think a normal tire would look better. New stance is great though

i know they peeled guys. they're ultra bald and i just wanted to see what they'd look like. ideally, i want some black tire between the beauty ring and the white wall, and some black tire on the outside of the white too. but that would have required tape and time, and again, they're bald old tires. but thanks for the comments!

    thanks!

i'm not even done. sooo much more to come!

and i'm bound and determined to be the lowest static dropped, daily driven 3g on this site. goin lower and cutting out my upper fender well frame so the upper ball joint can come up into the engine bay and stop bottoming out.

    F tires.

Haha no man i have to go back to stock, Im passing the coupe on to my sister and buying a white hatch hopefully soon. Im going to use the stock suspension from the hatch and throw it on the coupe.

I'll be getting K-sports for the future hatch. I have certain plans with it that I wont have to worry sooooo much about bottoming out everywhere. Im going to love the dumpedness

    Re: Hondamonster build thread

all the way. i'll probably have to cut my mud flaps, because they're already under an inch away from touching the ground just on level pavement.

and in local news, my flex pipe looks like a 15 year old kitty pole in a senile old lady's house. its half torn out, and i drove home with my exhaust hanging at an angle and dragging the ground last night. its going to the exhaust doctor tomorrow to get fixed and tucked up higher so i can get a little closer to terra firma. and finally installing that cherry bomb glass pack... as my sole muffler...

    i <3 this car.

the other day at a traffic light i noticed a 50's chevy pickup, flat black, lowered, and rolling on some cragar knock-off wheels pull up next to me. the guy (a dude in his 50's or 60's) stopped short just to sit parallel to my car, stare at it, and blatantly shake his head. i looked over and smiled then he pulled forward the rest of the way. if you have haters, you're doing something right! but so far the general consensus is that its pretty badass. i'm just having fun and making the most of it!

e30 bmw. they're known commonly as bottlecaps

whelp, went to the exhaust shop today to get everything patched up. good grief there was some carnage under there. lots of scraped and dented junk. moral of the story- now its all tucked up higher and i have a cherry bomb to match the stickers. wordddddddd.

flex pipe was pretty haggered. the guy goes "i think its touched the ground a time or two" lol.

    more exhaust

    subframe

overall, it didn't look too bad except for the exhaust, so i'm goin lower for sure. just have to find the time of day. and the cherry bomb on the stock piping sounds great!

side note- saw this dude on the interstate and we drove next to each other for a while staring at each other's cars. it was pretty sweet. i would love to know what the surrounding traffic thought of us hahaha
