Right now, we're looking at July 31st, possibly a picnic in Eastern PA somewhere.
Does anyone live in the area and can offer some insight on local parks/pavilion areas and/or offer a backyard to hang out in? Just some ideas.

There are parks around Philly we could hang out at.

well we should probably get moving on this to make some definite plans because the time is fastly approaching and idk about you guys but planning a head seems to work better for me (no douche bagness intended)
i dont know how far east everyone wants to be are you looking for more philly? cause out towards philly is Ridley creek state park, or Embreeville County Park, or if you want to stay a little more west theres always Gettysburg National Military Park. Just some suggestions thrown out there give it a ponder. let me know what you think.
How does everyone feel about meeting near Philly for a picnic? CT guys - could that work?

no offense to everyone in Philly , but i cant stand driving in the city, this sounds like a good alternative in the mean time. Lets get this moving we only have about a month. Im not familiar with any of those places, any chance we can get a good photo shoot in those places?

I'm not familiar with Ridley creek, but from the website there appear to be plenty of picnic areas - it's just a matter of picking one. I checked on the pavilion rentals, and they're all booked. So we'll have to wing it on a picnic spot to meet up at.

Been busy with work and such so haven't had a chance to look around. We could always have something at FDR park in the city.

I may drive south that exact week-end (july 31st). Like almost every year, I'd go to Wildwood, NJ.
Philly isn't that far so I could meet with you guys on August 1st I guess. It depends if you plan to meet on Saturday or Sunday.

Why don't we have a Wildwood meet? Meet up in the morning, have fun at the park, and then do something after?

If its in Wildwood and if its on july 31 we're in for sure! (well as long as its not raining for the whole week)
Maybe not in morning because its a 9-10hours drive from our place but in afternoon. (around 12 or 2pm)![]()

eh, Wildwood is pretty far for me, considering I don't have any vacation time left at work and I was planning on staying at my buddy's place near Lancaster.

You can stay in my hotel room if you want![]()
Seriously, I know what you mean. Driving 8 or 9 hours is a pain.
What is wildwood?
