anyway, the shifter is out, so I can replace the bottom dust seal, plus put in the new poly stuff. I forgot the big inner seal is torn up, so that will be another three weeks before it gets here. I think I can replace it from above. As long as the stuff that has to be installed from the bottom is done, I'm happy.
