like geddy said, 50 dollar kit = no go.
sorry to bump a old thread but the link you posted does not show the heat range of 3k or 6k

    Re: Hid Kit

I would recommend DDMtuning. I have 55watt 5000k low beams and 35watt 3000k fog lights in my BMW and it is overkill but I love it. Unless you have projector housings, going 55watt is stupid as it will scatter the light pattern everywhere.

    Re: Hid Kit

We need an actual HID thread with a nice format to it for people..

A format similar to something (feel free to update) like..

    -Housing type
    -Brand
    -Wattage
    -Years owned (or months w/e)
    -WEBSITE BOUGHT (important)
    -Cost
-Any extras needed? (harness, wire, etc..)
    -Pictures if possible.
-Rating scale you rate them at (1-10 is simple)

Just throwing this out there because I hate reading things like "50$ kit = poop", instead of "This kit is 89.99, has a warranty, and here is the website I bought them from".

-Housing type - autopal h4 conversion
    -Brand - dont know
    -Wattage - dont know
    -Years owned -1month
-WEBSITE BOUGHT - local store, Parts Plus, oak harbor
    -Cost - 130
-Any extras needed? (harness, wire, etc..) - kit included everything
-Pictures if possible. check my thread (will post pic later)
-Rating scale you rate them at (1-10 is simple) hard to find a good place to mount the ballasts, but i love the way they look, i have 8k's. i think from the drivers perspective, the work great.
but i think they might be too bright for other drivers, and when i see y car in reflections, it looks kinda ricey (but im starting to like it tho, lol)

    Re: Hid Kit

you guys should really start ordering your hid's from www.builtbynotorious.com they are friends of mine and were doing a special at 75 dollars for their kits. i also think if you use the promotion code "statiK" you might get a dollar off? lol.

edit: just tried the coupon code and it didn't work, i'm gonna call them and see what's up.

but honestly these guys are great dudes, they run a shop in downtown phoenix and have been in the honda scene since the 90's. which is more than a lot of us can say. /endshamelessplug

    Re: Hid Kit

I really prefer DDM tuning because they have life time warranty on the ballasts. You can get on of their raptor kits for about $35 or the slim ballast for like $45 plus shipping.

-Housing type- Projector conversion from aftermarket projectors for a 2000 focus.
    -Brand- DDM Tuning
    -Temperature- 6000k
    -Wattage- 35W
    -Years owned- 1yr
    -WEBSITE BOUGHT- ddmtuning.com
    -Cost- $45 plus shipping
-Any extras needed? Since i had converted my stuff to projector i think y'all may need some extra stuff.
    -Pictures if possible.
-Rating scale you rate them at (1-10 is simple) I give them a 10.

    I/H/E, B16 mani, delta 272, OBD1....etc
