Primered! So much went wrong today, first my water filter for the gun decided to break on my gun right after i had poured in the primer into the gun, then hafway spraying my dad decided to use his huge electrical saw while im painting so the breaker poped so i had to hurry before the paint dried but besides all that cant complain with how it came out even if its just primer.

If you were my neighbor we would have to have a serious talk about your yard. Tent city isnt to helpful to the neighborhood value. The car looks good and what a great temporary shed as well.

Re: New color for the hatch!

Looking good your motivating me to get my car going but i need a few more things done before i can start sanding it down. My biggest dilemma is i want to use my xenon side skirts. But to do so i would have to mold them to the car which will eliminate removing the fenders to jamb out the door area.

But keep up the good work glad to see someone thats motivated!

Its hard to find parts like that as i ordered every possible piece of trim last summer when i found my donor coupe. Im not sure if a auto part store like Napa could get a aftermarket one? I had to use them to get oddball things that Honda no longer makes.

Re: New color for the hatch!

Just a few random bushings for my red coupe. My lower control arm bushing in the rear was frozen to the bolt so i had to replace that. I have not tried to get body clips but its worth a shot as they carry a lot for our cars.

Here in the NE junkyards have crushed all possible donor cars as i called around and took a road trip to get parts last fall. Sadly i found only one coupe but the guy was an ass and didn't want to be bothered for small parts. I still need a few trim pieces but im working on that with other members here.

Well I decided to paint the door hinges first to see how the color would look and I absolutely love it. The pics are nothing compared to in person. Here's some in the daytime.
