Ok, I was just asking cause I saw the bottle of oil next to the filter.
that swap looks fresh! love that valve cover![]()
thanx guys oil is there cause it burns oil lol non emissions friendly b16
so small update.. swapped muffler to a megan oe. the oval one sounds good now she breathes like she should :-) also replaced the pcv and seems to be burning less oil.. ill post more pics tonight and maybe a few more pics..
I still think you need some kind of n00b of the year banner under your name!!!
Can't wait to see more pics, man! Post some vids too!!![]()
Looks like the car is striking on you man, its an original 2.0L car, so it sud be. Legen was right, there is no replacement for displacement. Good cams will run you just about the same as B20tech. and just as much power but the bonus is that you'll have bottom power, to drag you in high gear, small engine just cant compare. And it will be more efficient when cruising.

My Build Thread
crvtec is ok but there not reliable.. if anything ill get a gsr long block and build that but only after my head is fully built.
very nice
b20vtec or lsvtec is reliable IF DONE RIGHT. short cuts or saying awww thats to much ill skip that part. Clearances done right. I made the extra time for my shit to get done right.
ive seen lsv and b20v take a shit matter of months and weeks. but also the ones ive seen is the ones that were slowy build from the ground up. I love when peeps pull there head off and slap a gsr or b16 head on and expect there b20v or lsv last. NOOB move. either setup needs to be done correct.
b20v would walk all over a gsr so i would change my mind lol. My lsv took me a year to build but it wont be a slouch for any means.
but if you want a stock reliable setup a gsr b16 b18 so on is good. buildt is a whole different story but a vtec motor not done right will blow just like a b20v or a lsv. ITS all in the builder and tuner.
