Another Weber install [pics inside] + questions.

I finally got tired of messing with the stock carb.

This is what came in the package.

    Will add more pics soon.

No more carb + other useless stuff.

Scrapping off a gasket. It was very difficult to remove.

a little bit a degreaser cleaned up that manifold.

Found this bit in my dad's tools for the coolant port.

    Came out good, huh?

Can I get rid of these two canisters?

put in a new fuel line for the new fuel filter and line from the dizzy.

    another angle.

This was hard to remove. I actually tightened it even further!

    This did the trick.

I think my starter may be bad. I started it up and eventually the cranking got slower and slower. I checked the battery voltage and it seems good.

Did you ever figure this out? 11.4V means that battery is dead bro.

I'm having some systematic problems with the battery. Like it will sit for a couple of days and then it needs to get jumped. I think I may have had to get it recharged too many times and degraded the battery. so I need a new battery. Thanks for the info!

What are you plugging the AS port on the exhaust manifold with?

Wow that is a huge line for the vacuum port on the dizzy. You didn't have any hard lines or adapters left over from the tear down?

I see you're using the same fuel filter I had on my setup.
I wish I had bought my webers new, instead I got two from a duel setup for $75 each on ebay.

yea 11.4 is discharged. Recharge it and try again.

make sure your headlight retract motors are working. If they do not reach full open or closed position they will drain the battery.

Alternator may also have bad diodes.

Do a current draw measurement on it. Then unplug the alternator charge wire and recheck, if no change remove the retractor fuses and recheck
