looking for 1989 accord coupe center tail lights willing to trade (have se-i stuff)

Been looking for awhile. with no luck. If anyone has one in excellent or better cond. I have cash. but would prefer to trade. I have an 89 se-I coupe for parts so if you need anything I have a mostly complete car minus all leather and cup holders thanks in advance Ricky (I also have for trade a nos oem 4 door tail light set and a black passenger power mirror)

Thanks GT-r The lights attach to the license plate holder in one piece across the back the black plastic always gets cracked and is nla thru Honda. I hate to say this but I may find a coupe for sale cheap and buy it for this piece alone. craziness!! lol

I don't know if se-I coupes are the same as an LX as far as front side parking lights go.if they are the same would you be willing to part the driver's side out? I would need the light sockets and quick connect wire harness also. if so,give me a price with shipping to 37321. thanks. I will continue to keep my eye on the wanted catagory.

^ All front side markers are the same for all trim levels for 1986-1987 and again for 1988-1989.

I've been looking for one for a few years with no luck. They're all broken. Everything I find is worse than what I have already. I'm probably going to glue the cracks in mine with epoxy and restore it that way.

Well... I purchased a 89 grey 4dr se-I tonight that doesn't necessarily help in the taillight dept. (it has a lost salvaged title) I plan on parting it. anyone want to trade a good motor for taillights?

Well I spoke to soon folks. im not going to part the grey se-i i bought it sight unseen for 500 bucks and was realy surprised when I picked it up today just how nice it is. I have all the the documentation for the title. so mon. I'll hopefully get that coming. I'm going to do a few repairs (muffler windshield misc. little bits and power steering hose) drive it until the coupe is done and prob. sell it. tailights would go along way towards purchase if any one has a set

I have a brand new one still in the box, it got slightly damaged in shipping but it was easily fixed with a small amount of superglue (the edge just chipped so it was not a big deal). I would love to find someone who could reproduce them for us off of it since then are basically non-existent. Anybody know of anybody who might be able to do this for us?

I'm seriously considering learning a plastic welding technique that I just found out to restore broken centers. What do you guys think? They'd have to be painted to even out color and sanding imperfections, but I can do an LED retrofit at the same time. Do you guys think $400 for a full set (outside included) with LED conversions is reasonable? If so, I need to set my lab up and get some boards spun.

^ $400 is worth it as long as your LED conversion includes proper housings for the new bulb technology. Cars with LED replacements in their filament housings look like crap - just one tiny spot of light and you can barely tell the difference from the tail and brake lights.

I checked Pull-A-Part here in Memphis, TN for this panel as they were putting one out when we got there. As soon as it hit the stands I jumped on it. First thing I looked at was the taillights and centre light section. I'm sorry to report, passenger side taillight was broken, plastic was broken around the keyhole and the plastic and light assembly was literally broken in two sections when someone was trying to get into this car. Interior was a nightmare as it reeked of cigarette smoke and everything was stained severely. Sorry. I tried to help.

Age mostly. The plastic is not top quality and it dries out with UV exposure and smog. The piece warps, and cracks form; the trunk lid is heavy and slams hard. What're ya gonna do?
