X2 .. piney scent? must be the hydro LOL smell like a skunk in fresh cut timber
cubert.. duh huh yep it has been covered at nauseum no doubt
doc snooz, priceless.. and never pedal under the influ.. PUI, or agressive driving which is what they pencil in for any sport driving maneuvers and road rage.. lots of points & steep fine
pretty violated feeling I guess to have your tater head and ride in some database, dam
really like my car better now, I have no oversized rims, no five inch outlet muffler, park bench wing, windshield graphic...I cant imagine any other mod drawing so much attention even to a fellow enthuesiist.. I think it is the exhaust sound that tips em off I dunno.
The bicycle was for running a stop sign, which is a moving violation here in California. It goes on your record, hurts your insurance and all. Total campus cop jerk on a power trip. I was riding home from work through the campus because the traffic was less and blew through a stop sign. The cop stopped me, searched me, shined his flashlight in my eyes, hassled me for about 20 minutes and made me walk my bike home because I didn't have a light. I filed a complaint the next morning. Two days later the lieutenant called me in almost begging me to tell him that the guy had broken the law. Apparently, he was hated on the force too but knew just how far he could push things before breaking the law.
Anyway, reading between the lines here, it sounds like Anubix likes to mouth off to cops. They're probably out to get him and like the jerk I got, they know just how far they can go before getting in trouble. I'd start taking fresh baked cookies to the station every week. Might make them feel better about you.

I got pulled over bout a week ago for tha first time tha cop said he pulled me over for my turn signals being to dark so i told him wen he goes back to his car to run my info id turn on tha hazzards so he could see they do light up an it is noticeable. He came back and wut do you know there legal so then he decided to change tha reason of pulling me over to my exhaust which he was saying is illegally modified an i told him it was only illegal in hawaii and alaska and i have tha paper work to prove it plus a magnaflow decal on tha back side windows. obviously by this point he wasn't happy but couldn't do a damn thing about it. so he gave me back my license an all that an said i was free to go but wen i asked him for his badge number all he did was tell me to have a nice day an walked back to his car like a prick. Thats tha only time ive been pulled over so far only had my license for 6 months so im sure there more stories to come.
Got pulled over on my moped for speeding too.![]()

Got bad news for ya on this one. Had he known the law, you could've EASILY been ticketed for your exhaust. Almost every single state has a law that stipulates you may not modify your vehicle in any manner which makes it louder than original specifications. Even my state, which is one of the most lenient vehicle states (no inspections, emissions, or unsafe vehicle laws) has that law in effect.
lol.
cant say to much
i ran on my resricted for 7 years and only got my full after being done at a booze bus stop.
was only 20 minutes over, thing is i'd been doing it for ages.
was doing 6pm to 3am shifts at pizza hut for god knows how long till i got caught
no joke on that one. my friend was telling me the other week that she got pulled over and the guy literally just wanted to ask for her # (which she didn't give him).
but sam, i guess it must be riverside pd. must be why i stay away from them. i've only gotten pulled over 5x in 4.5 years of driving (*knock on wood*), only 3 of them were between my two 3gs i've owned.
pull over #1 not in 3g: on my way to dmv to take my driving test, i get pulled over for "running stop sign." worst part is that was probably the longest i've ever stopped at a stop sign before or since. i roll up. stop. check left. check right. check left again. proceed. halfway to next sign, i see pd fly off side street i just passed. since i'm doing nothing wrong, i wonder "wtf her problem" and keep going. so next stop sign, repeat the stop and check process then go. by now, she behind me and pulls me over. usual lic. and reg. bs and of course, since i'm going to get the license, i give her the permit. my mom was with me, kinda a req. to get license and all. so my mom asked the lady what we were getting stopped for. lady had the nerve to say "oh he ran that stop sign up there on street x and street y." lmao my mom got so mad, told her that she was off her rockers and i stop better than she (my mom) ever does. after that, she told me have a nice day and left.
2nd time, in my old 3g, got pulled over because i was driving, see brake lights, flashing lights, tow truck, whole nine yards up ahead. i'm like f this, not sitting in traffic. so i check my mirrors then start turning left. cop on bike is suddenly right there. so he pulls me over, asks me what i'm doing. idk, i see traffic and lights, it looks busier than i want to be right now. he looks all offended. "so, you mean you're avoiding our dui checkpoint?!" if that's what that is then yes. took my lic. and rego and ran it shit's legit, clean record though so he's like well have a nice night, be more careful, you almost hit us. well don't fucking try to zip your bikes up beside a line of traffic.
4th time, in current 3g, i knew it was happening when the cop was still 1/8 mile away from me going the opposite direction. worse part is i wasn't speeding or anything either, no loud exhaust, no tint on windows, nothing. anyway, i see him do the u-e in my mirror and follow me to stop sign. i stop. and stay stopped, lol. for like 20 seconds. finally i just decide wth i'll go left. then realized immediately "shit, didn't signal." sure enough, pulls me over and tells me to signal next time.
last time, in current 3g again. so i'm on the freeway, my speedo says i'm doing about 80 and in the fast lane. i see a sheriff up ahead in next lane to the right. but since i'm on the freeway, they never bother you. so i pass him, going 80 according to my speedo (sl is 65 lol). then i change lanes in front of him to let the idiot behind me pass. then i change lanes back behind the other guy. next thing i know, he gonna pull me over. for what, might you ask? for tailgating! biggest waste of 5 mins of my life. clean record and my shit together, he let me go. told me to remember 1 car length for every 10 mph.
edit: damn, i write too much. anyway...
so the states all have on record the info on stock exhaust levels? these aren't exactly the newest cars out there and the exhaust system might oh say RUST or otherwise need to be replaced.

My wife gets pulled over in the Accord more than I do. Mostly they just think it's an old POS so it sticks out and they think they can write a ton of tickets. At least that's what they told her the last time she was stopped.
