Bought yet another JDM Honda!

This time it's a facelift Honda Orthia S

It's an EL2, basically an EK civic wagon.

Mine has done 58,000km (35kmiles) and cost around US$5000

Features of any 99-02 Orthia:
-B20B DOHC engine with "high" compression, 9.6:1 instead of 8.8 or 9.2

Features of the Orthia S:
-Tinted windows
-Rear sway bar
-Thicker front sway bar
-Stiffer suspension
-15" Alloys, same as USDM Civic Si Coupe
-Chrome exhaust tip
-Painted sills and door moldings
-Fake carbon fibre interior trim around center console, gear shifter, window switches, gauges
-Fog lights
-Dark "sports" interior

The Honda Orthia isn't exactly a rare car, although I wouldn't call the S model common. Most Orthias are 96-98 pre-facelift, which has a B18B or 9.2:1 compression B20B.

Even in 99-02, most are the L, M, L4 or M4 models. They are the low grade models, some with 4WD. However they all have the 9.6:1 B20B. They don't get the nice seats etc

This car is to replace both my 5th gen Accord SiR Wagon and my 5th gen Prelude Si. It will be the daily driver for both myself and my wife, while my toy is my Nissan Gloria

I've put a CD player and speakers (mix of Panasonic, Sony, Pioneer generic crap) in it and will get an alarm, other than that it will stay stock. Might as well spend money on the Gloria instead

Yeah the Orthia is about 400 pounds lighter! And because I don't rev above 4000rpm, the H22A in the wagon was useless to me. The Orthia feels lighter and quicker.

Both my current Hondas are DOHC non-vtec: F22B, B20B. I prefer the feel to my previous Hondas, H22A and DOHC vtec F20B.

i dot rev my SiR past 4k much either but REALLY enjoy it when i do.
not much beats an h22a past 550rpm for sound or go whan it comes to NA motors
