Pics of 2G valve covers...

So I'm trying to figure out if all 2G valve covers were the same? I'm specifically looking for an aluminum one that says 12-valve on the cover because I understand they fit an A20 head, and I really like the look of it. ...but I want to make sure that if I can't get one on this board, that I know what car to look for one from.

Anyone have one they're willing to part with? Anyone want to swap theirs for an A20 v/c? Anyone have any pictures they can post or info about what models to look for that would have that v/c?

All of the 84-85 Accords have the same valve cover that says "12 Valve." It looks just like the 2g Prelude valve cover that says "12 Valve" on it except the lettering is on the top on the Prelude valve cover. Also the 2g Accord cover has two tall studs on the top in the middle that you would have to chop off.

Here's the cover on the 2g Prelude:



It doesn't have the PCV valve that comes out the top of the valve cover, and the lettering is on top. It's a bit cleaner. The Si Preludes have the same valve cover as the 3g Accords with the cast valve cover.

OK, so that ET1 pic is damn near exactly what I'm looking to do. I would love a 2G lude one as well. Anyone got one they're willing to part with? If so, PM me with a pic and price and let's get the deal going.

hmm.... you must be slipping with your old age man. The first two pics are different from the bottom two. Top 2 = A20A3 cover. Bottom two = 2G Lude cover.

...yeah, me too. ...and that is EXACTLY what I am trying to accomplish. I just got my can of Red VHT Wrinkle paint, and intend to use it on either that cover, or a 2G 'Lude cover.

....so on that note, BUMPAGE! ...anyone out there have a spare they want to sell me? If so, PM me with your price and a pic and let's make a deal dammit.
