    OEM Moonroof Visor installed!

I got my moonroof visor yesterday so i decided to get the car washed and slap it on the roof.. it looks good though i'm not 100% sure about it yet since now there's this bump on top of the roof lol. It does make driving with the roof open a lot quieter and there's a lot less wind tunnel effect, though the visor does cover like half the moonroof so there's less air flow in general. I installed it after the sun had set though.. i'm sure I'll like it when I can open the roof and not have the sun blast down on me

    anyways pic time

    closed

open! (I need to paint that screw.. i put it on the passenger side so i dont have to see it every time i get in lol )

now i can see 'Honda' every time i look up

    couple wider shots

compare the pic below with this pic of how it looked when i got it

now that, sir, is a nice looking piece of equipment. and from the title, i thought you'd actually put in a whole sunroof/moonroof assembly, not just the visor.

you won't see any wind coming into the car. the visor was designed to suck air out of the car.

    Re: OEM Moonroof Visor installed!

That looks nice. I always wonder if that would look right with my sunroof since the shape of mine is different, but I don't really need one anyways, since wind is not a problem for some reason, and neither is sun.

Its been a long time since i've been able to "wash my car". Screw you California guys and your perfect weather.

does yours have a flat front? I'm pretty sure a prelude one would work, though the clips that hold it on are hooked under the curved sheet metal from the body so if you have an after market sun roof one it might not be easy to install

ps thanks for all the nice comments guys

    jerk

btw after having the visor for a week or so i freaking love it.. it looks cool and the way it blocks the sun and shapes the airflow over the roof is tight... you can barely even tell the moonroof is open even at freeways speeds
