WTF? 3G coupe in NZ

This is weird, it's a model i've never seen here before.
Badges on the back say "Honda Accord Coupe" and "Import Edition", nothing to indicate trim level.
badges on the doors are "Honda Of America" same as I have on my 5th gen wagon.
It's left hand drive
Has JDM 87-89 style front corners.

I think thats just a regular JDM-spec coupe. I know that the coupe was only made in the U.S., so it had to be imported into Japan in order to be sold there. Thats the same deal with your 5th gen wagon, because I think those were only made in North America also. So I think thats just a coupe that was sold at a Japanese Honda Dealership with JDM specs. I dont think that the car was sold in Japan with multiple trim levels like it was in North America. I remember reading that those are really rare in Japan, and really everywhere besides North America nowadays.

That being said, that car is clean as hell.

Looked very nice in person I wonder what motor it has under the hood? OD think's it's not a B20A cause of the single exhaust from the muffler, but the original muffler could be long gone.

I know it's from the states originally so you'd think no B20A, but so is my 5th gen Wagon (which has the same Honda Of America badges) and it has a H22A which the US 5th gen didn't get as far as i know.

Yeah i've seen them on these cars:

3rd gen coupe
4th gen coupe and wagon
5th gen coupe and wagon
EG coupe

I've never seen an EK coupe here

That's indeed a coupe made in the US, imported to Japan by Honda. It was then brought to NZ through the JDM importers.

That's nothing we've never seen heer in the US (except the badges and corners). The Engine is the regular USDM A20A3.
