What to do what to do.... i currently own an 89 lxi sedan, i noticed two 89 coupes for sale.... i dunno if i should sell my sedan (223k miles) and buy a coupe ( one has 131k the other 154k). My interior still looks brand new too

Is there anything wrong with your car?
If not I wouldnt get rid of it just to get a car with two less doors/lower miles.
No matter the mileage its still a 20+ year old car...its very possible it will have issues.
if i were you ill stay with the sedan...the coupe is nice but the wheels look bit apart from a sedan but the coupe have those pillow seats which look comfy but thats just me cause i have a sedan.....but if i had a coupe (grey se-i) i wouldnt care about the vs part but eh thats just me
Why not have both?
i like 4 doors cause u can fill them with shitbut i agree having both would be ftw
my sedan needs a new clutch soon, and i found a buyer for it (ironically its my room-mate) i could keep them both but i live in the barracks (wonderful army) and i would have to find a spare parking spot to stash one in. So now the question goes, 1,000 for a lxi coupe, supposedly in good condition inside and out, runs great (automatic) and has 150k? is that a fair price... i am gonna shoot him a price of $800 cash and see how he responds
Oh alright my mistake I thought cause of the sedan having extra doors than the coupe that they had to make the sedan bigger in order to put the doors...my bad
well, the coupe i wanted to buy is lacking some features and is also in rougher shape than mentioned (http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/1601644537.html) and he wants to much for it in the condition its in. note the cracked windshield and super dent on the body. The other one is for sale for 1400, which is about 500-600 out of the price range i want to pay
link to the other one http://killeen.craigslist.org/cto/1598390354.html
wow remind me to never buy cars in tx lol i paid 500 for my hatch with 180k on it lol original owner and thats the most ive ever paid for a 3g lol the others ones were 300 and 400 and in way better shape then those lol
looks like i am gonna hold out for a better deal. It is tempting, i got the lx-i down to 800, but its got some serious body damage
Stay with the sedan. If it's your only car it will be more functional. Chances are if you sell the sedan then buy the coupe, you will still have to fix junk on it.
Damn what a rip off I would keep searching for better 3g cause those are shit its not even worth paying more than a grand for a 3g unless well taking care of unless you want to TLC of it then buy it and keep your sedan too if you want a coupe keep it till you fix it how you like it and maybe if you want you could part out your sedan to fix the coupe but I say just keep both of them
i did notice the lack of power windows, locks and mirrors to be odd. I really want a hatch, but that will never happen here cause i havent seen one on the road yet
Coupes are by far my favorite, seconded by aerodecks, then hatches, then sedans. I think the sedans look weird, especially the '86-7 (tail lights). I wouldn't mind having an SE-i sedan with a Vigor trunk lid. That's the only way I'd take a 3g sedan. Now if there was a wagon...
Oh, by the way: Coupes, hatches and aerodecks* (I think) never had the option for power locks.
very simple...coupes do it better
'88 LX-i Coupe --- LS/Vtec
'08 Accord EX-L 6-6 --- Daily Duty
the red coupe is a fake lx-i not the real thing lx-i comes with power window and the ac controls are not from the lx-i ...and you can tell the Lx-i badge has been tamper with....if you want check it out 100 percent sure its Carb
Did I not completely explain that five posts up?
