The days of mass produced parts for the 3rd gen are long gone. The only thing you can do is suppprt those who support us by purchasing their parts. Thats what i did by purchasing their cams and valve springs.

As for part I asked awhile back how much they would. Charge for some headers. Theyy gave a estimate. Of 1300 for some one offs. So I'm sure we could get a group buy for 2-400 if we could get enough people.

not knocking just making those of us who are unaware of past problems. i doubt very highly that a header will be made for the a20 as i can only think of 3-4 people who would actually purchase one. but be aware that this problem has come up on several occasions on d-series as well as honda-tech.

i would love to see what bisi could make for an a20.

That MatHatter is very dick is. The Bisimoto rep was giving him the best service possible and he was turning it down(in that thread). And I'd have to say that shit breaks. It's unavoidable but he didnt seem to understand that. Shipping the headers to him isnt a big deal. should cost $50 tops(w/o a box).

but yea just my take on that.. i could say more but im not lol.

and if he made headers for A20's id poop my pants. Then id have to get a hatch lol

Not to mention that the rep told everyone what was wrong with the headers in the first place, and said that it's since been fixed on the new ones.

Yea I saw that to. They even offered to take them back after. He modded them, which breaks. Warranty. He was a total douche. Btw I'm typing from my phone, ignore the horrible grammar. XD

man that guy is a chode. Declining every chance to have it fixed. I do agree that having to pay for the shipping for both ways would piss me the #(@# off but it would be better than having a broken or no header. Anyway as the rep said. Things have to be tested for longevity and consistancy to see how long they last. It was a known problem to Bisimoto and they took the time to replace people whos headers broke because of that issue.

i will agree that he is a dick for sure, but there was more to that thread that was deleted. several other people had chimed in afterwards. it was just more to make people aware of problems that had been known.

like i said, i would love to see what bisi could do with an a20, but it will NEVER happen. keep dreaming guys... either that or put up the money to do it for real.

Yup. Money talks. Thats the only reason ive gotten so far in the A20 game. Always count on paying for one-offs when you want something. Consoder youtself extremely lucky if you get a group buy going.

I would just plan on paying the 1300 for the one-off header from them.

Re: Bisimoto Engineering - Group Buys

i wonder if dc sports/aem/whoever owns the copyright would be willing to release it to bisi and maybe they could do one-offs based on it if an order came through. it probably won't be the $300 (or w/e the dc headers were brand new), but idt they would be $1300 either. we would just need someone w/ a dc header to cart it over to ontario (or ship it down) so bisi could blueprint it and have it on hand. (last i heard, aem/dc sports lost it.) i'd do it, except i sold mine a little while back...

well by what I've seen here on the site, I'm sure we could put forth the effort. I mean I Bet we could get it down to 5-600$ each if we got just enough people to drop some money.

I for one would be completely willing to do it.

I mean I wouldn't mind spending 1300$ on some great headers, >.> even though thats 3 times what I spent on the car. >.<

Of course If I did spend 1300$ on said headers I would want it to be a turbo header.

well I have no way to make them, and I've seen alot of them with curved tubes, and I'm sorry but I have no way to make that.

and even a basic one, I don't have the material to cut and weld. XD
