Could be the Brake light Switch on the pedal, there plastic and tend to break, or if your tail light seals are fucked up it could be the control boxes for the tails, whenever I took my LX to the car wash the tails would die, till i dried out the boxes and got new seals

would this kill the 3rd brake light in the rear window aswell??? the tails turnon with the head lights but the actuall brake lighting doesnt work when brakes are hit.... also the switch and pedal area look fine... but im not positive... i will get a junkyard switch and try that

well since i have to put the new clutch in soon... and i noticed i have some moist oil on the pan today... im wondering if i should get the rear main seal done aswell..... i have to pay my shop to do the clutch becuse i only have a basic tool set right now since these past few moves have made me get rid of 90% of my tools...so im wondering if i should add the rear main seal onto that list while the clutch is out what you guys think?? i gotta make this engine last till i can build a turbo motor
