    1986 Honda Vigor (New Zealand)

Had blown gasket, put 2nd hand engine into her 150,000ks 1800 carb thou

Got spoiler lipp off an accord at wreckers (sprayed it black and put on)
Put sunroof in and added some cheap 14" LOL! alloys hahaha

She goes awesome, starts first everytime, smooth as auto no clunks or grinds or slips....uses no oil or water either
Would have prefered she have 2.0l injected thou.

i bet if you take off the fog lights & sell them on here, you'd get about half the cars value worth from just them

I must say thou i am not a fan of the Blue interior! theres a few models at the wreckers with nice black interior & Dash/leather i think it was a 1988 CA model? theres about 2 vigors 1989 and 8 accords 1987-1989 in there all rusty as with high mileage.....the one i pulled a engine out of was a 150,000k import with rusty body and seized waterpump!
I wanted to put a 2.0l inj in but was told id have to do some mods, so didnt bother as no one could be positive if the engine would fit or what id have to change i wish i had looked further into it.

There's plenty for sale with blown head gaskets, must be a weak spot eh?

Re: 1986 Honda Vigor (New Zealand)

if they are single cam the head will be warped more than the gasket blown, If you were keeping the car a B20A swap would be sweet, it would be a 100% upgrade over that a18a thats in your car now. ~150ishPS over 110 from the gay18a. haha, main reason for the engines failing is the new zealand attitude to cars. "its old it doesnt need oil changes/coolant, lets just use water and not service the car"

half the reason why my car runs like ass cause i cant find a mint b20a up here locally. thats why im rebuilding one

its actually just a MXL. M for vigor, X for popup lights, and L for luxury options like power windows and flash trims etc.

a superstage commonly has posh red interior etc
