These coveted beer can holders are absolutely annoying!!! My water can doesn't fit in them, my iced T don't fit, and neither does my mason jar full of homemade absinthe...

I made the best mod available for SE-i cup holders ever. I ripped out that anemic two can tray...the drawer works just fine without it. I might be adventurous and find a way to mod the tray itself without totally trashing it.

First make absolutely sure you don't trash them...
It's a sin to wreck sacred cup holders!!

The cup holder detaches from the tray piece, so no permanent damage done. I wouldn't trash it but its relatively useless for modern sized drinking vessels.

I only drink water, the problem is I don't use those plastic bottles, they're waste. After I took the cup compartment out of the tray its all good. My water can fits fine sitting next to my phone...I just can't do any speedy turns, not like my Accord will do anything considered speedy these days.

What's the diameter of one cup holder/diameter of a can that fits in it?
Some unfair generalised comments about Americans and their size of drinks (and food) spins through my head,
but I won't spit it out with so many Americans here (who I might need in the future to teach me shit about my own car again)!

Nice, that means the large Dutch McDonald's drinks should also fit..
These things are USDM, but they can't handle the big US drinks. Honda should've made them EDM!

well i have an idea that may or may not work...you can screw in some cupholder that will fit on the side where the e-brake is at and mount it there so you could put your big gulp drinks there.

I used to stick drinks in the gap between the seats and the center console before I got an armrest.

I throw all my bottles to the back seat, just kinda awkward when you want to drink for a second time! That's why I need cupholders!
