Your old mount looks like mine. I was too cheap to replace it but oh well. I'm not sure if I could live with the vibrations from the stiffer mounts. Not that i really need them anyway!

the vibrations arnt bad really. I already have a front solid mount so ive gotten use to the shake. it just got more crisp at low idle.

That's the best part about upgrading the mounts. It really tightens up how the drivetrain feels. Clutch engagement feels more solid and you don't get that mushy feeling on transitions between acceleration and deceleration.

And the vibration is the worst at idle. But who really cares about idle?

Is that a pirate sword in the traction bar pic? Lol. Touch my bar you get the sword! Hah. I'd at least paint it with some good paint and add some hardening stuff to the paint. You'll be good. Keep it up!

i have rendons old solid front mount on the car already and that will be welded straight to the bar itself. i do plan on getting rid of the tranny "brace" mount w/e that rubber block is labeled.

LOL u guys notice the weirdest things ever. yes its a pirate sword, i got it when i needed an eyepatch because i scratched my cornea some months back. i ran around the house as a pirate for a few days lol. but idk if ill get to painting it soon, this car is my dd, so if i get the bar mounted ill have to be carless for a few days. to get it powder coated.

this. he has the specs for a b series in a 3gee but not an a20. i honestly think the front mount would be close enough to just get the series specs and go from there. But when i ordered the bar i was drinking a bit and didnt ask for that because i wasnt sure. maybe rendon can chime in on this. does the front b mount bolt up on the cross member???

cable trans do. i have holes for 17mm nuts but i didnt want to weld a mount. ill be getting the traction bar. no offense to cheddas bar but this is build better.

I did hear back. 8 to 10 week wait, and he can do a torque mount with b series cable trans. Pricing is fairly reasonable even shipped to Canada.

Tdurr, what was your wait time like? That is my only concern, as I have a good friend who ordered through them for his lude, was told 6 to 8 weeks and it ended up taking 17 weeks!!

well i ordered over mine right before the holidays, so i figured id have a week or 2 delay. I ended up getting it on the 11th week.

welp, me being me, im looking for a mbc and a bov. Im thinking of rolling the dice with a GSP 50mm bov. ill only be running 10ish psi so im thinking why not. but id like to have something that changes out with other bov's easily.

Lol thanks.its not as loud as a 1200rpm idle. So im okay with it now.

But small update, ive gotten the boost bug again (rode in my buddies evo and just want to turbo the damn car already. So I been ordering parts again. Lots of small things ive just been lazy about getting bit its happening now. Pics once it all starts to go together. :ninja:

I got a few things the other day. I think its the last of the parts i need before boost. gotta install a few of them and start to get a final test fit of the ic pips and pick a weekend to get this thing boosted.

im also gonna be getting my traction bar installed here soon. and maybe get an na tune just for shits and giggles.

I hope you put some gussets under that platform to tie it to the bar. If not your creating a high stress point at the weld.

Yea the shop did. I plan on trying to paint it next week so ill get pics of it under the car when I can. I was helping with some of the installation process and hads were too dirty to take alot of pics.

Yea I feel like if dan/john just sent the parts for the front mount with the bar, it could've been welded on in 30 min. There is still room for improvement imo on the bar. When Its not cold and raining here ill take some pics and send them to dan/john about the set up for the accord.
