I felt uneasy about driving without the bolt in so I put it back in tonight
Since the strut gets fatter the bolt was hitting the strut and not allowing it go it correctly. so I jacked the car back up till the strut backed out of the pinch fork, screwd the bolt in, set the car back down and tightend it on the ground.
I dont know if you can tell the difference in this before and after pic. but it is only 1/2 which is just fine for me.

The car still rides the same and it does sit even with the rear.

Jesus christ I love your car pico. So clean.
Looks like it did the trick, not too intense but really makes a difference. I will definitely be doing this for my car.

Great mod. Thanks for the pics.
I feel your pain, I slipped my back out of whack saturday doing a volunteer ramp build for people who need a ramp but can't afford to have one put in.

Photo shoot time for us... Thanks messy
Thanks Cody.
I like the way it's sitting now.
Thanks Phil if this thread wasnt brought back to life I never would of went ahead with the mod.
And my wrist is killing me again today, I have to learn to ice my wrist when ever I do work on the car
That really sucks Pico, I know how you feel. I have arthritis in both my wrists and random other irritating places. The day after anytime I work on my car I pretty much feel like I'm gonna blow up. No fun at all.
looks great!

Instead of cutting the fork, you can also modify the strut itself.

I cannot vouch for the clearance on Accords, but on my Prelude, the addition of a large O-ring above the conduit union brought it to the perfect height for clearance.
